Lamb Of God Launch Non-Alcoholic Beer ‘Ghost Walker’

While band-branded beer and spirits have become common practice these days, a band-branded non-alcoholic beer is certainly an anomaly. Touted as a world first in that regard, Lamb Of God, have teamed up with BrewDog to create just such a beverage: ‘Ghost Walker‘.

Taking its inspiration from the band’s 2012 track “Ghost Walking“, the beer promises ‘an amped flavor of tropical notes, mixed with a grassy, pine riff.’ A video of the band performing “Ghost Walking” live at the House Of Vans in Chicago, IL this past February has arrived alongside the beer’s release.

That song originally came about during Lamb Of God frontman Randy Blythe‘s decision to get sober. Speaking of the collaboration, Blythe offered:

“The idea of a collaboration hatched when Willie Adler and I visited a BrewDog bar in Columbus on a tour day off to sample a few pints of their non-alcoholic beer with the brewery team. Countless bands have done beer collaborations, but we are the world’s first non-alcoholic one. In my not-so-humble opinion, this is the best non-alcoholic beer ever made, PERIOD.

It was conceived, designed and first tasted while on tour – music drove it into existence. Right now is a strange time for everyone, but we’re stoked to provide a non-alcoholic option for those who want to have a brew while cranking some tunes safely at home. We hope you enjoy our performance and we will see you on the road as soon as possible.”

You can pick up the brew in the U.S. now via with it set to be made available in the EU/UK later this week. Lamb Of God‘s new self-titled studio album will be out on May 08th.
