Limp Bizkit’s Wes Borland To Release Demos From Scrapped Project Eat The Day

Back in 2003 Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland was out of the aforementioned band and working on projects of his own, including one dubbed Eat The Day. That project had a rough birthing process with both open and closed auditions failing to yield a suitable vocalist.

While vocalist/guitarist Richard Patrick (Filter), drummer Josh Freese (The Vandals, ex-A Perfect Circle, etc.) and sampler/programmer Danny Lohner (ex-Nine Inch Nails, etc.) would eventually take part in writing sessions via a merger with another project, The Damning Well, Eat The Day was ultimately scrapped due to creative differences.

It seems Borland is ready to unearth the demos he created for that project with plans to release them later this week. To that end, he teased the below track “Whalephant“.
