When their North American tour this month with Thy Art Is Murder, Fit For An Autopsy was cancelled last week, Enterprise Earth decided to head out on a freshly booked trek of their own. They dubbed that run the ‘Touronavirus‘. As you might suspect, those plans didn’t end well. The band have since announced that the run, which was booked from March 16th through to March 31st, has been cancelled in the wake of restrictions put in place to help stop the spread of the Coronavirus. They commented via social media:
“Due to increased safety concerns we will be cancelling our current DIY touring plans. We do not want to put our fans or anyone at risk.
As states continue to place gathering restrictions, the CDC suggesting to cancel events of over 50 people, and the evident global pandemic we simply cannot continue with this tour as we will it would be irresponsible. Thank you to our fans, venues, and promoters that helped us book these shows last minute. We’ll be back when everything calms down.”
We tried, but safety is top priority. Sorry to those that wanted to see us on these last minute gigs. Refunds available at point of purchase. pic.twitter.com/Sxx1qM0zOM
