The Acacia Strain‘s decision to push forward with their ongoing North American tour has been faced with some new setbacks in the wake of the Coronavirus. The group have announced the cancellation of their shows Los Angeles (March 15th), Berkeley (March 16th) and Portland (March 17th) due to restrictions put in place as a result of the virus outbreak. A limitation on the size of public gatherings has also seen the band decide to play two separate shows at the Chain Reaction tomorrow, March 14th.
The group mounted the tour this month with Rotting Out, Creeping Death, Chamber and Fuming Mouth. They commented earlier today of the tour’s status:
“We are unfortunately forced to cancel our shows in Portland, Berkeley, and Los Angeles. Anaheim and all other shows are still on!”
