Volumes Issue Statement On Death Of Their Ex-Guitarist Diego Farias

Volumes have issued a statement regarding the death of their former guitarist Diego Farias. News of Diego‘s passing was shared on social media this morning (February 06th) by his brother, Gus. Volumes had just parted ways with both Farias brothers late last year with Diego himself having only publicly announced his exit late last month.

While Gus‘ exit was met with turmoil, Diego‘s appeared to be more amicable, having distanced himself from the band in the months leading up to his departure to accommodate his growing workload as a successful producer.

That line of work saw Diego earn himself platinum records for his recording engineer work on the 7x multi-platinum hit “Broccoli” from D.R.A.M. & Lil Yachty and his production work on the Jake Paul and Team 10 track “It’s Every Day Bro“. He also won two Latin Grammys back in 2016 for his engineering work alongside his father Gustavo on the Juan Gabriel album “Los Dúo 2“.

Diego‘s cause of death has not yet been revealed, he was said to be 27-years-old at the time of his passing. Volumes‘s statement on his passing can be found below:

“We are absolutely devastated by the tragic passing of Diego Farias. We are trying to cope and process this as it all seems so surreal. We send our love and thoughts to his brothers Gus and Andres. His mother and father, and his extended family.

As we collect our thoughts we will then be able to properly convey them more, but for now…we love you Diego, rest in power.
