Alexisonfire To Release New Single “Season Of The Flood” On Vinyl In March


Alexisonfire officially released their new single “Season Of The Flood” online today, January 14th. The band’s frontman George Pettit commented of it:

“I’m very proud of this new song. There were some first time attempts for us and we all really came together in the studio to make this song what it is. This was also my first time singing with Dallas on a song. I know I’ve been playing in a band with Dal for almost 20 years, but damn, that guy’s voice could melt an angel.”

A 10″ release of the track with a laser-etched b-side is due out March 27th and pre-orders for it can be found here. The band recorded the track with the late Karl “Horse” Bareham (City And Colour) and had Jacquire King (Tom Waits, Kings of Leon) mix it. The song represents the last of a trilogy of songs the band recorded with Bareham, who died this past September.

Alexisonfire will head out on the road this month for a co-headlining run with The Distillers and that will see NOBRO opening:
