Lorna Shore‘s immediate plans have been temporarily suspended as the band figure out how to proceed forward. Last month they fired their vocalist CJ McCreery amid allegations of abuse from several women. McCreery does not appear to have publicly responded to the allegations, having since gone dark on social media.
The news of McCreery‘s removal arrived as the band were gearing up to release a new album titled “Immortal” featuring McCreery on vocals on January 31st. Presumably, the band will no longer be doing so and have issued the following statement on their immediate plans:
“ASIA :
We are deeply saddened to announce that we will NOT be playing the shows we had scheduled there this month. Ourselves, and the booking agent tried everything we could to make this happen, but unfortunately it just couldn’t work.
We promise to be back soon. We love you all and are very sorry we couldn’t make this happen.
Edit: everyone asking about the album/future. you will know when we know. at this moment, there are discussions but nothing we can comment on.
all we ask is please be patient.
this will all be addressed soon.”
