Sleep have shared some good news for their fans while in the midst of closing out the year with a trio of dates at the Thalia Hall in Chicago, IL. An initial transmission announcing these shows, which was posted this past November, had many worried that the group would be going on an indefinite hiatus.
The confusion came about following some suggestive on-brand commands for ‘hypersleep’ for an ‘indef duration’ the band included within it. Now the trio have newly confirmed that their planned time apart following tonight’s New Year’s Eve show does not mean they have broken up. They stated:
Sleep has not broken up. After these NYE shows we are taking a much needed break for the time being. Thank you all and happy new year.
