Legendary thrash metal act Slayer‘s nearly 40-year career as an active band effectively came an end last night, November 30th, following a farewell show at The Forum in Inglewood, CO. The show brought an end to the group’s years long farewell tour and saw them perform the following setlist as their final send-off, according to those in attendance:

Fan-filmed footage of their set closing performance of “Angel Of Death” can be seen below along with the close of the set. After finishing up “Angel Of Death” and handing out sticks and picks to the crowd, the band’s frontman/bassist Tom Araya took to the mic to emotionally addressed the audience, stating:
“Thank you. Thank you very much. I want to thank you for sharing your time with us. Time is precious. So I thank you for sharing that time with us, thank you. I’m gonna miss you guys. But the most important thing I want to thank you for being a part of my life, thank you. Good night. You guys be safe.”
