Slayer's Kerry King

Watch Kerry King Struggle With “When The Stillness Comes” Intro At Slayer’s NYC Show

While Slayer have played their 2015 track “When The Stillness Comes” live some 237 times, that doesn’t mean that the band’s guitarist Kerry King is immune to the the odd mishap. However, that song gave him quite a bit of trouble in particular during the band’s November 09th set at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY. King struggled to get the track going, having to restart the intro four times. You can watch that play out via the below fan-filmed footage. It’s since been noted that King was playing the track on one of his newly unveiled limited edition signature Dean guitars, which run for $8,666 USD.

Slayer are currently on the final leg of their farewell tour with the below dates remaining. Primus, Ministry and Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals are the openers on that run.
