Watch Tool Play “Swamp Song” Live For The First Time Over A Decade


Despite being on the final leg of their current North American tour, Tool have still been finding the time to reintroduce some songs into their setlist. The latest to be pulled from the bench is “Swamp Song” off of their 1993 debut album, “Undertow“. The group performed that track live for the first time since 2007 during last night’s set at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA.

Undeterred by the Tool‘s generally strict no filming policy, some fans in attendance captured the song with footage available below. Earlier on this tour the band performed their instrumental “Merkaba” for the first time in 17 years. Their immediate touring plans run as follows:
