Marilyn Manson Debuts Music Video For Cover Of Johnny Cash’s “God’s Gonna Cut You Down”


You might recall all the way back in 2017 when Marilyn Manson was teasing his cover of Johnny Cash‘s “God’s Gonna Cut You Down” at his live shows. Thought it pretty much flew under the radar, that cover was eventually released on the soundtrack to the 2017 film ‘24 Hours To Live‘, which was put together by Manson‘s bandmate at the time, Tyler Bates.

Some years later Manson has now given that song an official release himself, complete with the below music video directed by Tim Mattia, who Manson previously worked with on the clip for “Hey, Cruel World“.

A picture disc vinyl release of this cover featuring a watercolor painting done by Manson himself will be released on December 13th via Loma Vista Recordings. Pre-orders for that are up here.
