Metallica have released an official clip of “The Memory Remains” from their recent ‘S&M²‘ live performance with the San Francisco Symphony. The band were joined onstage by the San Francisco Symphony at the grand opening of Chase Center in San Francisco, CA last month on September 06th & 08th with the shows filmed for a new live film/album.
The resulting film was recently screened in theaters for an intimate gathering and will first be shown to the public at large in theaters for one-night only on October 09th. November 23rd, 2019 will mark the official 20th anniversary of Metallica‘s original “S&M” live collaboration with the San Francisco Symphony.
Metallica are currently taking some time off as frontman/guitarist James Hetfield has re-entered treatment for addiction issues.
