Ousted Slipknot percussionist Chris Fehn resurfaced on social media earlier today, October 03rd. Along with the below brief check-in on what he has been up to lately, he also made an interesting reply to a fan regarding a potential return to the band. That exchange can be found below:
Fehn of course currently remains in a fierce lawsuit with his former Slipknot bandmates over band-related finances. Fehn filed the suit against Slipknot vocalist Corey Taylor and percussionist M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan in particular earlier this year and was fired from the band soon after. Most recently Taylor and Crahan sought to have Fehn‘s suit thrown out of court.
While no longer involved with Slipknot, Fehn remains somewhat active in music, having guested on a new track from ex-Motörhead guitarist Phil Campbell that surfaced this past August. You can check that song out here.
Meanwhile, an unidentified musician who came to be known as ‘Tortilla Man‘ has toured with Slipknot in Fehn‘s former role throughout the year.
