Full Of Hell & Lingua Ignota Plan Special Sets For 2020 ‘Roadburn Festival’


Full Of Hell and Lingua Ignota have been announced as the artists in residence at the 2020 edition of the annual ‘Roadburn Festival‘, marking the first time there have ever been two artists to hold that position at a single edition of the festival.

Full Of Hell will be partaking in four separate sets during the fest, including full album performances of “Weeping Choir” and “Trumpeting Ecstasy“. Another set will see them performing material from “Roots Of Earth Are Consuming My Home” and  their early 7″ outings, while a fourth set will find them collaborating with Lingua Ignota.

Lingua Ignota meanwhile also has a covers set, an “All Bitches Die” set and a ‘grand re-imagining’ of “Caligula” planned for the festival.

Emma Ruth Rundle and James Kent (Perturbator) will serve as the curators of next year’s event with Rundle lining up a show from Hide, while Kent has Boy Harsher, HEALTH, and She Past Away booked. Other additions to the festival include:

As previously announced, Kent will team with Cult Of Luna‘s Johannes Persson for a unique collaborative experience. Jo Quail will join forces with with the New Trombone Collective for a special set dubbed ‘Jo Quail Presents The Cartographer‘. Vile Creature and Bismuth will also perform together on a special piece dubbed ‘A Hymn Of Loss And Hope‘.

Julie Christmas is also expected to unveil some new material and perform fan favorites with a backing band that features Persson and ex-Kylesa guitarist Laura Pleasants.

The festival will take place April 16th-19th in Tilburg, NET.
