Hear Motörhead’s Lemmy Kilmister Team With Lynda Kay On Newly Unearthed Country Track “The Mask”

Late Motörhead frontman/bassist Ian “Lemmy” Kilmister‘s outlaw country track “The Mask” can newly be streamed below. The song has origins dating back to 1979 and wasn’t completed by Kilmister until 2009. The previously lost track finds Kilmister paired with Lynda Kay and appears as the lead single on Kay‘s new album, “Black & Gold“, which is out tomorrow, August 23rd.

In other news, October 25th will see the release of a new box set titled “1979” which compiles deluxe editions of Motörhead‘s “Overkill” and “Bomber” albums. Kilmister died in late 2015 due to prostate cancer and heart related issues.
