The latest edition of Billboard‘s weekly Boxscore report offers an extensive look at the numbers of Metallica‘s European/UK headlining run with Ghost and Bokassa this summer. Going by the below numbers, you can clearly see why Metallica have already found themselves among the top grossing tours of 2019.
From the sampling of 13 dates of the 19 date run, Metallica grossed a staggering $70,215,503. Even more impressive is that these numbers don’t include merch sales. Keep in mind however that these are gross numbers and don’t factor in the costs of the production of the shows and the small army it takes to make them happen, along with venue fees, etc.
