Throughout the years there’s been a lengthy rotating cast of musicians who have joined Glassjaw‘s core duo of Daryl Palumbo and guitarist Justin Beck onstage and yet another can now be added to the list. The latest to earn a Wikipedia entry is ex-Taking Back Sunday bassist Matt Rubano, who has been holding down the low end at the band’s recent shows.
There’s no word yet on if his role will be permanent—or at least as permanent as it can be when it comes to Glassjaw‘s rhythm section. You can see how Rubano did with the band in the below fan-filmed footage of their show in Moscow, Russia late last month. Meanwhile, Glassjaw‘s current live plans include:
07/18 Patchogue, NY – Great South Bay Music Festival
08/16 Las Vegas, NV – Psycho Las Vegas
09/13 Chicago, IL – Riot Fest
Never thought I would say this again but who’s going to @VansWarpedTour tomorrow in AC? I’ll be playing w Glassjaw. Come on, feel the noice.
