Old Man Gloom have announced their plans to enter the studio next week to begin recording new material. The band’s drummer Santos Montano commented of that via social media:
“In one week we commence the new gloom recordings. So there will be all kinds of social media excitement then. That’s something, right? Ya’ll have something exciting to look forward to! I guarantee there will be:
Pictures of Aaron being weird
Pictures of Steve being weird
Pictures of Santos being hilarious and handsome
Pictures of gear
Pictures of food
Pictures of…um….more gear. Please share a wish list of things you’d like from us during recording in a social media capacity. I’ll accommodate.”
The material will be the band’s first since the untimely passing of bassist/vocalist Caleb Scofield last year. Scofield‘s Cave In bandmate Stephen Brodsky has since been tapped as his replacement.
