Update: June 19th, 2019 09:27 AM:

More fan-filmed footage from the reunited Static-X‘s first live show has emerged online and can be seen below:

Original Story:

Static-X played their first live show last night (June 18th) since reuniting late last year. The performance took place at the Marquee Theatre in Tempe, AZ with the band celebrating the 20th anniversary of their platinum selling debut album, “Wisconsin Death Trip“.

Their ‘classic’ era lineup members Tony Campos, Koichi Fukuda and Ken Jay got back together for the trek with a mystery frontman identified as ‘Xer0‘ fronting the band. That musician—reportedly Dope frontman Edsel Dope—performs while wearing a mask that resembles a necrotic version of Static-X‘s late frontman Wayne Static.

Initial fan-filmed footage from the performance has arrived online below. The aforementioned show kicked off Static-X‘s touring plans this year with the below dates booked.

Furthermore, the aforementioned members of Static-X have also been working on a new album titled “Project Regeneration” featuring previously unreleased recordings from Wayne Static.
