Sharon Osbourne Speaks On The Extent Of Ozzy’s Tour Postponing Injury

Sharon Osbourne, wife and manager of Ozzy Osbourne, has revealed how her husband recently injured himself, forcing him to postpone all of his 2019 touring. Prior to this latest injury he already postponed months of his planned touring earlier this year after developing pneumonia. Just when it looked like he was on the mend, last week it was announced that he had since aggravated a previous injury.

That past injury was sustained back in 2003 when  Ozzy was involved in an ATV accident which fractured some of his ribs and his collarbone as well as a vertabrae in his neck. Rods and screws were medically inserted to help him recover.

In the below appearance on ‘The Talk” earlier today, April 08th, Sharon spoke of how he sustained this latest injury and the complications it caused.

Ozzy is… Oh, Lord, I don’t know where to begin, and I have to make this quick… He, at the beginning of the year, had a bad flu that went to bronchitis, that went to pneumonia. And then when he had the flu, he came out of hospital and he had a bad accident at home.

He fell. And he fell in the middle of the night. And years ago, previously, he had a motorbike accident, where he was in a coma for days. And what he’d done was he reinjured his back and neck and shoulders.

And all of the metal rods and everything that were put in his body were dislodged. So we had to cancel his year events. But he’s good, he’s fine, he’s great.”

She added: “He just feels terrible. He says it’s the only thing he’s ever done right in his life, his performing, and he just feels terrible.”

Rescheduled dates for Ozzy‘s tour in 2020 can be found here.
