Though the band have a new album in the works for a release on August 09th and big plans for the years to come, it would appear that not all is well in the Slipknot camp. The Blast are reporting that the band’s percussionist Chris Fehn is currently suing his bandmates, accusing them of unfairly distributing the profits earned by the group. According to the suit, Fehn believes that some of his bandmates have been taking a bigger cut after having setup several Slipknot-affiliated business entities without his knowledge.
According to The Blast‘s report, frontman Corey Taylor and percussionist M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan are among the members he suspects of pocketing more money than they should be. As part of his suit, Fehn is seeking a full forensic accounting of the band’s companies and assets in order to establish potential damages and profits.
Taylor himself stated via Twitter of the situation:
You’re gonna read a lot of bullshit today. This is all I’ll say. JUST YOU WAIT TIL THE TRUTH COMES OUT.
