Lamb Of God frontman Randy Blythe vowed to ‘counter-party’ a planned protest by the Westboro Baptist Church this morning (March 11th) in Richmond, VA, and as the below footage can attest, he made good on his promise.
The aforementioned religious extremist hate group had announced their plans to protest Virginian transgender politician Danica Roem, who also happens to be a noted fan of metal and a musician in her own right.
Upon hearing of that group’s plans, Blythe rallied for people to come out and join in a counter-protest of sorts with the aid of an armament of some of the most obnoxious instruments known to man, including kazoos, cowbells, vuvuzelas, whistles and more.
The protest has since taken place and footage of Randy leading the charge against a meager showing from the Westboro Baptist Church can be found below:
