Devin Townsend has crafted a rather adventurously eclectic back catalogue over the years and with the upcoming release of his new album “Empath“, that trend doesn’t look set to stop any time soon.
If you ever wondered what really makes Townsend tick however, the below revelation of what he considers his favorite track of all time to be could be a good starting point.
According to Townsend that honor falls on Ravi Shankar‘s “Prabhujee“, which was produced by the late George Harrison of The Beatles, etc. fame. Townsend‘s new album “Empath” finds him stepping away from the Devin Townsend Project format and instead features numerous guests. It will be in stores on March 29th.
People have asked me for years what my ‘favourite song of all times’ is. And it’s this. The lyrics are in the artwork of the hummer, I used it as an intro for syl and an outro for dtp. https://t.co/B3EJi9WjjD
