Imonolith (Threat Signal, Ex-Strapping Young Lad, Etc.) To Hit Studio For Debut Album

Imonolith have revealed that tomorrow (March 06th) will find them beginning the official recording sessions for their forthcoming debut album. The band unite members of Threat Signal as well as ex-members of Strapping Young Lad and the Devin Townsend Project. According to the outfit, the sessions will take place at the Armoury Studios in Vancouver, BC with Jason Van Poederooyen, brother of the band’s drummer Ryan Van Poederooyen, producing, engineering and mixing. A summer release date is expected.

If you’re having a bit of déjà vu, it would appear that the band were unhappy with earlier sessions they had at the same studio in the spring of last year. The group just recently played their debut shows and released their first single “Hollow” this past January.
