Pelican Announce New 7″ & Tour With Cloakroom, Release Re-mixed/Remastered Version Of “Forever Becoming”

A new 7″ from Pelican titled “Midnight And Mescaline” will meet an April 13th release date as part of this year’s ‘Record Store Day‘ event. That effort will mark the band’s first new music in six years and in addition to the title track will feature the song “Darkness On The Stairs” as a b-side.

Meanwhile, a deluxe reissue of the band’s 2013 outing “Forever Becoming” was made available via streaming services/digital retailers today (February 26th) and it features a re-mixed and remastered edition of the album, complete with a revised version of the previously Japan-only bonus track “Bardo“. Chris Common—who oversaw the original mixing sessions for the record with limited resources—returned for this latest mix. You can take that for a spin right now via these services.
