Sevendust Planning New Album, Announce More “Home” Album Shows

Sevendust‘s thirteenth studio album should arrive in 2020 if the band’s current plans hold up. Their guitarist Clint Lowery recently spoke to Audio Ink of what the group have been plotting as of late and it it’s quite possible they could begin tracking a new effort later this year. Lowery said of that:

“We don’t want to wait a long time. We’ll probably end up recording a new record at the end of this year. We already have ideas kind of floating around for it. I’ll do a solo record in June and record it and release it after the Sevendust cycle slows down, but we’ll probably end up tracking a record this year.”

Lowery went on to say that he plans to play the majority of the instruments on the solo album himself, sans some of the drumming. In other news, Sevendust will be once again performing their gold certified 1999 sophomore album “Home” in full during a stint at The Machine Shop in Flint, MI on May 17th & 18th. The band previously performed the record at a New Year’s Eve show to close out 2018.

You can catch Sevendust out now on this U.S. tour with Tremonti, Cane Hill and more.
