AC/DC's Brian Johnson

Brian Johnson Reportedly Confirms His Involvement In New AC/DC Album

There’s some more fuel to add to the fire regarding the rumors of AC/DC having officially reunited with frontman Brian Johnson for a new studio album. Various members of the band, including Johnson and apparently returning drummer Phil Rudd, were photographed together at Warehouse Studios in Vancouver, BC this past summer.

The photos seemed surprising at the time, given that Johnson stepped down from the band several years prior amid concerns over his hearing, leading to Guns N’ Roses vocalist Axl Rose to step in and tour with the band in his place. Meanwhile, Rudd was replaced after running into some interesting legal issues in 2015.

While the band have remained quiet on the matter of a new record, this latest update oddly comes from the band Terrorizer, who claim to have run into Johnson in the airport recently. They shared a post about that which can be found below and in part reads:

“We ran into Brian Johnson from ACDC at the airport today after the flight home and we asked him about the rumors of him being on the new ACDC album and he said “Yes” and that he is ” Sick of denying it”. So that was a cool surprise ending to the tour.”
