AEG Files Lawsuit Against Danny Wimmer Over ‘Rock On The Range’ & ‘Carolina Rebellion’ Festival Disputes

Recent weeks have seen the ‘Rock On The Range Festival‘ relaunched as the ‘Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival‘ and the ‘Carolina Rebellion‘ festival relaunched as the ‘Epicenter Festival‘. Up until September of this year, those festivals had been co-owned and co-promoted by Danny Wimmer Presents and AEG.

With that partnership having come to an apparently non-mutual end (Wimmer publicly described the parting as a “divorce” on his part,) Danny Wimmer Presents moved ahead with new versions of the festivals, giving them new names, and in the case of the ‘Epicenter Festival‘, a new venue.
