Mastodon and brewer Mikkeller have teamed up for another beer together. This latest collaboration takes its name from their ‘Emperor Of Sand‘ track, ‘Ancient Kingdom‘. The beer is in select European stores now and Mastodon drummer/vocalist Brann Dailor had the following to say of it:
“Couldn’t be more excited to be collaborating once again with one of our favorite and internationally revered breweries Mikkeller. Ancient Kingdom is the perfect name for this beautifully brewed Czech Pilsner. We hope to swill a few with you on our European tour this winter, or on the beach this summer! Breach the walls of the ancient Kingdom and discover the bountiful riches hidden inside.”

The beer marks the third collaboration between the band and the brewery. As for the European tour referenced above, that run will find Mastodon out early next year with Kvelertak and Mutoid Man. Scott Kelly of Neurosis, etc. fame will also be joining Mastodon onstage at a number of the dates too. You can find the schedule for that trek here.
