Ex-Korn/Core 10 Members Announce New Band Bias

Having exited Core 10 earlier this year, drummer David Silveria (ex-Korn), bassist Chris Dorame and guitarist Joe Taback have announced a new outfit dubbed Bias. The trio are joined by guitarist Mike Martin and frontman Rich Nguyen in the group. Nguyen came to the band after a public singer search with Taback offering:

“We received hundreds of submissions from all over the world and heard a lot of amazingly talented people. Rich came in and we just instantly vibed. The songs flowed without a hitch. We were able to get a lot done with him in a very short span of time.”

Silveria commented of the band’s name:

“We chose BIAS because everyone has their own opinions and preferences that influence their actions in some way or the other. Whether we know it or not, we all have our own version of bias.”

Recording sessions have been taking place as of late with Chris Collier (Prong, KXM) for the band’s debut release. They also have made plans to play their first-ever live show on January 25th in Anaheim, CA with the venue yet to be announced.
