Ether (Remembering Never) have signed with Century Media and are working on a new album for the label. In the interim, the label will be re-releasing the band’s full-length outing “Nothing Left For Me Here” in early 2019 with a new remastering job done by Brad Boatright. Frontman Pete “Mean Pete” Kowalsky (also of Remembering Never) commented:

“We have pushed our band about as far as we can on our own and Century Media is a legacy label that has released some monumental records over the last few decades, many of which helped shape our music.”

Meanwhile, speaking via a post on their social media, the group issued a more elaborate statement, which also clarified the status of a once planned new EP release:

“Finally, the news we have been sitting on for some time now. Sorry for the delay. As many of you have figured out, we will no longer releasing our EP, “Language is the Instrument of the Empire.” The EP may be (will be) released in the future but the fate of it has not been determined as of yet.

Instead, we are in the final stages of writing LP #3 (untitled as of yet) and well… we are at a point where we may have reached our limit as to what we are capable of handling on our own. With that said, we are absolutely delighted to join the Century Media Records roster.

CM has released some of heavy music’s most important bands over the decades (Turmoil, Eyehategod, Napalm Death, Entombed (A.D.), Aborted, Deicide, Heaven Shall Burn, Broken Hope, Earth Crisis, Merauder, Terror, Candiria, Paradise Lost, Glassjaw, and so many more) and we look forward to all the opportunities the future brings with them.

We will be re-releasing There is Nothing Left for Me Here with a new layout and remastered by Brad Boatright at AUDIOSIEGE (Ringworm, Full of Hell) which should be out early on in 2019. We will also enter the studio in early 2019 as well to record the new record.

Before all the hootin’ and hollerin’ and congratulations, we want to say thank you to everyone who has helped us in any capacity from day one i.e. booking our unknown band from South Florida, buying our records, playing shows with us, anyone who stuck their necks out for us, took a chance on us, and believed in us. Big shouts to Dead Truth Recordings, Southern Druid, Michael Alago, our Florida music family, and all our friends and loved ones…”
