Underoath Announce Benefit Show For Lucas Starr (Terminal/Ex-Oh, Sleeper)

Underoath will be playing a benefit show for Lucas Starr (Terminal, ex-Oh, Sleeper) who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. Underoath‘s guitarist Tim McTague commented:

“A lot of stuff that happens in life — you can’t change. Every once in a while, there’s something you can. When our friend Lucas was diagnosed with cancer, we wanted to do more than just posting a GoFundMe. It took a minute, and a lot of work from our team and the promoter, but everyone rallied and we are doing this show.

All of the bands are playing to celebrate Lucas and bless his family. 100% of all money made at the door is going straight to Lucas and his family. We hope to see you all there for a sick party for an even better cause.”

The show in question will take place at 2513 Deep Ellum in Dallas, TX on November 05th with Terminal, Crown The Empire, ’68 and The Plot In You also due to perform. The date itself will occur amid Underoath, Crown The Empire and The Plot In You‘s fall tour. If you can’t make it out to the show, you can still help out Starr over at this GoFundMe campaign.
