Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson Slams Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame

Count Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson among the numerous critics of the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame and their often-disappointing picks for induction. While Iron Maiden would seemingly be a shoo-in for induction, they have yet to even be nominated. During a speaking tour stop in Melbourne, Australia, a fan asked Dickinson if he felt the band should be included, which led to him respond:

I actually think the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame is an utter, complete load of bollocks to be honest with you.

It’s run by a bunch of sanctimonious bloody Americans who wouldn’t know rock’n’roll if it hit them in the face. They need to stop taking Prozac and start drinking fucking beer!”

Just last week Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor slammed the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, stating that he “couldn’t give less of a shit” about it. Unlike Iron Maiden though, Nine Inch Nails were nominated back in 2016.

This year’s nominees include Def Leppard, Rage Against The Machine, Radiohead and more. You can find out who else is up for potential induction here.
