Ice Nine Kills have unveiled the music video for their song “Stabbing In The Dark” off their latest release, “The Silver Scream“. The band’s vocalist Spencer Charnas commented:
“I am proud to present what I believe to be the most intense installment yet of The Silver Scream film. ‘Stabbing In The Dark‘ is our tribute to John Carpenter‘s holy grail of slasher flicks — ‘Halloween‘. We also combine franchises here with a nod to ‘A Nightmare On Elm Street‘, as the security guard in the clip is played by the fantastic Ricky Dean Logan. He met his demise in ‘Freddy’s Dead‘ and that particular kill, where he gets his ear cut off, is widely known as Robert Englund‘s favorite death in the series.

The amazing people at Haunted Overload horror park in Lee, New Hampshire lent their amazing resources to us to make this the most visually stunning episode so far.”
Ice Nine Kills‘ aforementioned horror movie inspired new album “The Silver Scream” recently enjoyed an explosive first week on the charts, moving roughly 19,000 units (16,150 sold) in the United States. That was enough to see them open at #29 on the Billboard 200. Those numbers more than doubled the performance of their previous record, 2015’s “Every Trick In The Book“, which opened with 7,300 units. Next up for the group on the touring front is this fall U.S. tour with Atreyu, Memphis May Fire and more.
