As they had hinted earlier this week, the surviving members of Nirvana once again reunited onstage—this time for an encore set during the Foo Fighters‘ appearance at last night’s (October 06th) ‘Cal Jam Festival‘. The band’s former members Dave Grohl and Pat Smear, now both of the Foo Fighters, took to the stage with ex-Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic, who had performed earlier with his current band Giants In The Trees.
As the trio had done during their 2014 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Nirvana induction afterparty show, they were once again joined by Joan Jett and Deer Tick‘s John McCauley in place of late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. According to those in attendance they performed the following songs together:

“Smells Like Teen Spirit”
“All Apologies”
