It appears that the surviving members of Nirvana—Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear—may once again reunite onstage. The below video was recently shared on the Foo Fighters‘ Facebook. It features some footage from the 2014 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Nirvana induction afterparty show the aforementioned trio played with various special guests.
During that set the trio were joined onstage by Joan Jett and John McAuley of Deer Tick—both of whom will be playing this weekend’s ‘Cal Jam‘ festival, which will be headlined by the Foo Fighters. Novoselic‘s current band Giants In The Trees will also be playing. The festival itself will be held this Saturday, October 06th, at the Glen Helen Regional Park in San Bernardino, CA.
Most recently the former Nirvana bandmates reunited onstage in Seattle last month.
CAN'T WAIT!!!! What else could we have up our sleeves?? Stay tuned….🤘#CalJam18 https://t.co/OA525e7pg0
