Nü Metal Band Lifer Return For Reunion Shows

Lifer have been back on the scene lately, having recently played a reunion show in Wilkes-Barre, PA late last month. That set was originally billed as an acoustic show, but soon became a full-fledged electric performance. The nostalgic setlist paid tribute to the band’s early days as Strangers With Candy, finding them performing covers of A-Ha (“Take On Me“), House Of Pain (“Jump Around“), Rage Against The Machine) (“Guerrilla Radio“) and Limp Bizkit (“Nookie“).

The band originally got their big break covering those four songs on MTV‘s ‘Ultimate Cover Band Contest‘ back in 2000. Fan-filmed footage of their August reunion show can be found below with the group due to return to the stage at the Scranton Iron Furnaces in Scranton, PA on September 21st.
