Former Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic took to Twitter to fire back at those who were unhappy of the surviving members’ recent live reunion at a Foo Fighters show in Seattle this past weekend. If you missed it, Novoselic joined the Foo Fighters, who feature his past Nirvana bandmates Dave Grohl and Pat Smear, for a cover of The Vaselines‘ “Molly’s Lips“—a song Nirvana themselves covered early on in their career. You can see footage of that here. After experiencing backlash for the performance, Novoselic posted the following earlier today:
We tried to get a hold of him for this gig—as many times as we tried to contact Kurt, we couldn't get through. The phone just kept ringing & ringing. Kurt does not have email. In fact I have never emailed him in my life and I have been online since 1993. https://t.co/HTpvvhxzr1
