Metal Allegiance, the supergroup who feature Megadeth‘s David Ellefson, Testament‘s Alex Skolnick, Mike Portnoy (Sons Of Apollo, ex-Dream Theater, etc.) and Mark Menghi, have premiered a third single from their new album “Volume II – Power Drunk Majesty“. This latest track, “Bound By Silence“, features a guest turn from John Bush of Armored Saint/ex-Anthrax fame and a music video for it can be seen below. Skolnick commented:
“Bringing in John Bush to sing on ‘Bound By Silence‘ feels like a real coup. He has the perfect voice for this track musically, as well as the ability capture the intensity of the lyrics in terms of storytelling. A great addition the the MA family.”

Menghi added:
“‘Bound By Silence‘ tells the true tale of an amazing Vietnam War Vet, a brave soul who told me his incredible story with only a few months left to live due to Pancreatic Cancer. It’s a very personal song to me. I’ve since come to learn he recently passed on while leaving a great legacy behind. Forever Bound By Silence.”
Bush is just one of the many guests tapped for “Volume II – Power Drunk Majesty“, which will be out September 07th on Nuclear Blast. As previously reported, the band will be celebrating the album’s release with a show at the Gramercy Theatre in New York City, NY on September 06th. That special performance will see them joined onstage by:
