It Seems HELLYEAH May Be Moving Ahead With Their New Album

HELLYEAH posted a photo to their social media today (August 01st) that seems to suggest they are moving ahead with their new studio album. The band had been recording the outing before their drummer Vinnie Paul (also formerly of Pantera/Damageplan) died this past June.

In January of this year Paul himself said that the band were halfway done recording the album with producer Kevin Churko (Five Finger Death Punch, Papa Roach). The group were thought to be back in the studio around the time of Paul‘s passing. As drums are generally the first instrument to be laid down, it would certainly be a possibility that Paul‘s parts were already completed.

Today the group shared the below picture which appears to find Churko behind the boards, presumably working on the effort.
