Unearth Reveal New Album Title, Premiere Studio Version Of “Incinerate”

Unearth have announced that their forthcoming album will carry the title of “Extinction(s)“. A fall release through Century Media is being lined up for the effort with more details expected in the coming weeks. For now the band have shared the below studio version of the album’s first single, “Incinerate“. Frontman Trevor Phipps said of the track:

“‘Incinerate‘ brings the raw aggression and heaviness of our early material while also showcasing elements of where we’ve gone as a band since. Lyrically it is meant to be a song of unity in a time of great polarization around the world. We are constantly being told to not like our neighbor because they might have different views. The theme is a faith in humanity to come together and combat and rid the world of those that are intentionally dividing us.”

Extinction(s)” was primarily produced by Will Putney (Every Time I Die, Thy Art Is Murder) while Killswitch Engage‘s Adam Dutkiewicz oversaw the production of the drums for it. Guitarist Daniel “DL” Laskiewicz (LGND, ex-The Acacia Strain) helped write the outing. Currently the group are out on this year’s ‘Vans Warped Tour‘, where they have been performing “Incinerate” live.
