Watch Deftones Dust Off Three Older Tracks, Including Their Cover Of The Cure, At ‘Meltdown Festival’

Deftones¬†got to perform live in an unconventional venue setting today, June 20th, thanks to being a part of the annual ‘Meltdown Festival‘ in London, England. This year’s edition of the festival is curated by The Cure‘s Robert Smith and the Deftones‘ set took place at the Royal Festival Hall.

The group dug up a few older tracks they haven’t performed in over a decade for the performance, including their cover of The Cure‘s “If Only We Could Sleep“. That song was last played live by the Deftones back in 2007. Also last played in 2007 was “Battle-Axe“, while “Birthmark” got its first live airing since 2015.

See below for fan-filmed footage of that as well as official footage of Deftones frontman Chino Moreno touring the venue.
