Slipknot Members Appear To Be Hinting At Something

By now you likely know that members of Slipknot have been busily writing new material this year for their next album that is expected to arrive in 2019. The band’s percussionist M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan has been a driving force behind the new record and has previously stated that he expects studio sessions to begin in November. Last week Crahan posted the below logo and this week, the band’s bassist Alessandro Venturella followed suit.

Presumably, it would be a sly hint that Venturella is being brought into the writing/demoing process. Previously Crahan was scheduled to perform a solo show this month at this year’s ‘Montebello Rockfest‘, having curiously been among original lineup announcement. This latest daily itinerary for that festival no longer has Crahan listed as performer, seemingly ruling out any rumors of Venturella planning to join him onstage.
