Limp Bizkit’s Wes Borland Hopes To Revisit Black Light Burns In The Future

Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland hopes to one day revisit Black Light Burns, having recently gone back to the band’s material. He stated the following regarding that via Instagram:

“I’ve hated this record for years, but it just came up in conversation and I decided to listen to it again and it’s not as bad as I remember. Truly trying to pay homage to the artists that made me. Not the best production, but perfect intention and now in hindsight it makes me want to revisit BLB at some point.

I’ll get to that when I can, but in the meantime, check out what I’m doing under my name as a ‘solo artist’ (I mean, BLB and BDF are totally me too, but boundaries are necessary) My new single Matadors and Daughters is up for preorder on iTunes. Just search Wes Borland. Thanks”

Borland himself remains as busy as ever at the moment with a new solo single titled “Matadors And Daughters” set to arrive this coming Tuesday, May 08th. It will precede the upcoming release of his sophomore solo album, “The Astral Hand“.

In addition to working with Queen Kwong and recently guesting with X Japan, Borland‘s duties with Limp Bizkit may soon be ramping up again too as the group have reportedly signed a new record deal. Currently Borland is preparing for a four hour set he has booked at this year’s ‘Moogfest‘ which will be held May 17th-20th in Durham, NC.
