The San Francisco Giants held their sixth annual ‘Metallica Night‘ last night, April 23rd, during their hometown game at the AT&T Park in San Francisco, CA against the Washington Nationals. As part of the festivities, the band’s guitarist Kirk Hammett performed the United States national anthem and drummer Lars Ulrich threw out the first pitch. You can see footage of that below:
