Report: AC/DC Are Working On A New Album With Guns N’ Roses Frontman Axl Rose

Rumors and reports of AC/DC working on a new album with Guns N’ Roses vocalist Axl Rose fronting the band have been circulating for a year or more at this point. The latest apparent confirmation of such a pairing being in the works comes via an interview with Rose Tattoo vocalist Angry Anderson. He recently told The Rock Pit of an encounter he had with AC/DC‘s Angus Young:

“I was talking to Angus earlier last year when we were opening for Guns N’ RosesAngus and I were asked to do the encores and I said to him, ‘What are you going to do?’ and he said, ‘Mate I’m writing a new album.’ I thought, ‘Cool,’ so I asked him who was in the band and he said, ‘Axl.'”

AC/DC of course enlisted Rose and toured extensively with him after AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson was forced to step down from the band.
