All That Remains - This Probably Won't End Well

All That Remains Frontman Phil Labonte Has A Patreon

This past December, ever-outspoken All That Remains frontman Phil Labonte launched a Patreon—a crowdfunding service in which people agree to contribute a set amount of money monthly. At the time of the campaign’s launch he stated:

“Hey guys, so I’m just Testing the waters here. This is a work in progress And I need YOUR help figuring out how to serve you best. I’m going to be doing a bunch of different stuff, ATR things, lifting things, gun things, social commentary things, and things YOU ASK FOR. So don’t be shy about shooting me a message and letting me know what you want to see!”

As part of the campaign, Labonte has been sharing exclusive content to his contributors, most recently including video footage of him working on a new demo. He strives to make it to 500 patrons with the campaign and is currently sitting at 56, which earns him $418 a month at press time.

Labonte isn’t the first heavy musician to attempt to use the service as bands such as Allegaeon and Ne Obliviscaris have notably both utilized the service to keep their careers afloat. The latter outfit have especially done well with the service, accruing 1,037 patrons, earning them $8,561 a month as of press time.
