Guitarist Ben Ash Quits Carcass


Carcass guitarist Ben Ash has confirmed his departure from the band. He shared the below video update on that, in which he in part states: “At the start of 2018 I decided to come away from the touring circuit and focus on getting back into an educational role.” He also mentions some other music projects are in the works. Ash had been with the band since 2013.

The group recently played their first show without him since his original addition with Tom Draper apparently being his current live replacement. That show took place as part of the ‘Netherlands Deathfest‘ in Tilburg, NET this past weekend. Some live footage from that gig can be found below.
