Here’s Some Previously Unreleased Photos Of Deftones & Max Cavalera Collaborating In The 90s

Gloria Cavalera, wife and manager of Soulfly, etc. frontman Max Cavalera, has shared two posts featuring previously unpublished photos of Deftones frontman Chino Moreno working with Max on the Soulfly track “First Commandment and Max working on “Head Up” with the Deftones back in mid 90s. The latter track was a tribute to Cavalera‘s late stepson Dana Wells, who is often credited with introducing Max to the Deftones. The song is also said to have given inspiration to the Soulfly band name. You can find those photos and some words from Gloria on the sessions here (part 1) and here (part 2.)
